For many Churches in the SBC, or any other denomination for that matter, the big draw to get people into the pews seems to be the music.  It is the quintessential selling point for many congregations. This is especially prominent for youth groups, where loud drums, electric guitars, catchy riffs and inconsequential lyrics combined with dim lights become emblematic of the modern evangelical experience.
