Blinders doesn’t mean we become blind but we put on blinders. Like the race horse or the oxen only allowed to see right in front of him and only what the driver wants him to see. All else is off limits and beyond the possibility of honest consideration
Now I understand better what you meant. I suppose that’s why we need to know what we believe and why we believe it and not just what we profess to believe it.
