Is it any wonder God’s people are spiritually malnourished when charlatans like this guy are allowed to stand in the pulpits of our land. “the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?” Jeremiah 5:31
I did a little research and apparently the church was about 500 and now is at 8,000 or so. It’s advertised as a ‘safe’ place for non-believers, which really probably means you won’t find a clear presentation of the Gospel within a mile of the place. And actually, Steven Furtick at Elevation Church had a variation a few years back when he came down hard on anyone who sat on the front row, took notes, or dared to criticize. It’s a common theme but this clown really got nasty. Maybe he was trying to outdo the other guys.
