If you go back to the first verse Paul speaks of the 2nd coming of Christ and it looks like there might be a connection to what he had to say to the Thessalonians in 21 Thess 4:17.

i found this interesting, as i have been digging on this topic for years..i do believe HE is coming back for me, and I do believe in eternity, just the word itself “rapture” always throws me for a loop…and how that is all to come about.. check this out http://www.biblefood.com/raphist.html
