That was the title of a blog post I came across today. All I could reply was “If I am seated in the heavenlies in Christ, if all my needs are being met out of God’s riches in Glory, and I have scripture that is sufficient for EVERYTHING I need to be a faithful worker in the Kingdom, more what exactly?”
We also have the following telling us that we have all things for life and gosdliness and have already been made complete:
”seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” – 2 Peter 1:3
“…in Him (Christ) you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; “ – Col 2:10
And we want more?

Matthew 5:6 has a good example of something you should always be “hungering and thirsting” for.

Yes, we are called blessed (deleriously happy) when we hunger after righteousness, which is only found in Christ. The article didn’t go there at all, so thank you for reminding us of what constitutes true hunger!

Amen! That’s the attitude. I think back when I was young in the faith always looking for more of some spiritual highs…was such an unstable time for me.
